Station 1 located at 16035 Cypress Lane, was constructed in 1979. This is our original station and meets the ISO geographical standard for response within a 5 mile radius. Station 1 had additions made to the original structure in 2010 funded by donations from the community, and a grant from the state. This addition features a modern training classroom, kitchen facilities and a living area, and 3 bedrooms. Station 1 currently has three fire apparatus located here and 1 live in firefighter. Our monthly board meetings are held here on the 2^nd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM. BLFD sublets part of this space to Pafford Medical Services which runs an 24/7 EMS ambulance from this station.
