Reports of Committees

Generator Committee – Larry Smith

  • The generators are in stock.
  • The committee was pleased that the department switched companies and was able to save money.
  • The Cypress location is scheduled for March 23.
  • The Grimes location is scheduled for March 24.
  • The project should be completed within 2 to 3 days.
  • The department provided 50% upfront, with the remainder due upon completion.
  • The generators include the same warranty as the other company.

Old Business

IRS Form 990 Update

Jerry Hudlow reported that he filed the report and that it was accepted. He has an invoice to present to the committee.

New Business

Meeting Equipment

  • The Board discussed upgrading meeting equipment.
  • Braden Townsley proposed donating a camera.
  • The microphone is located under the podium.

Next Meeting

The next meeting is scheduled for April 14, 2026, at BLFD Fire Station 1, 16035 Cypress Ln, Rogers, AR 72756.
