John Whisenant Serving Since 2003
Joining the Beaver Lake Fire Department in 2008, Chief Whisenant began his fire service career in 2003 as a volunteer with the Gallatin Volunteer Fire Department, located in Western Benton County (AR). After attending the Arkansas Fire Academy in 2005, Whisenant accepted a position as a contract firefighter in Iraq as part of a 700+ person fire department. Chief Whisenant spent four years between 2006 and 2011 serving in Iraq, where he was promoted through the ranks of Driver Operator and Fire Prevention Officer. After returning home from Iraq in late 2011, Chief Whisenant began working for Northwest Arkansas National Airport as a dispatcher and eventually as an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter & EMT.
Chief Whisenant was promoted to Captain/Training Officer in 2013, Interim Fire Chief in 2014 and after a regional candidate search, was appointed Fire Chief on December 31, 2014. His primary responsibilities include executive management and oversight of the entire Fire Department including Training, Operations, and Fire Safety/Education.
Chief Whisenant is credentialed as a Certified Fire Executive (CFE) through the Texas Fire Chiefs Association, and as an Arkansas Governmental Manager and Certified Public Manager, through the Arkansas Public Administration Consortium (APAC). Chief Whisenant was recognized as the State Fire Chief of the Year in 2021 through the Arkansas State Fire Chiefs Association. He has been an ambassador for the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) Fire-Rescue International (FRI) conference, A fire service textbook validation member with the International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA). Chief Whisenant is a member of the IAFC, NW Arkansas Metro Chiefs Association, Arkansas State Fire Chiefs Association, and Benton County Fire Protection Association. He was recently appointed to a three year term on the Certified Public Manager Advisory Board.

Jon Wright serving since 1985
Joining the Beaver Lake Fire Department in 2015 Wright was promoted to Captain/Training Officer in 2016 and Deputy Chief of Operations in 2017. Chief Wright became fulltime in January 2022, his duties include oversight and management of the department's operations, and leading a shift as an engine company officer on a 48/96 rotation.
Chief Wright began his fire service career in Texas in 1985, and was a volunteer Assistant Chief for the Hwy 94E fire department outside of Rogers, AR. Jon holds a Degree in Speech Communications. He previously served as a Captain/Paramedic with the City of Bella Vista (AR) Fire Department.

Adam Stauber Serving Since 2014
Joining the Beaver Lake Fire Department in January of 2018 Stauber was promoted to Lieutenant in June of 2020 then Captain of Training in December 2020. Captain Stauber duties include direct supervision of Fire and EMS crews as a fulltime company officer as of January 2022, Vehicle Maintenance, and department training programs.
Captain Stauber began his fire service career in 2014 with a Volunteer fire department in Central Arkansas, before moving to Northwest Arkansas to study fire science at a NWACC. Captain Stauber previously served as an Engineer/EMT with the City of Bentonville (AR) Fire Department.

Joining the Beaver Lake Fire Department in 2015 Guest was promoted to Lieutenant in February 2019. Captain Guest began his fire service career in 2011 joining a local volunteer department. Captain Guest duties include direct supervision of the Fire and EMS Crews as a company officer fulltime as of January 2022 and facility maintenance.
Andy Began working as a fulltime Firefighter/EMT with the City of Bentonville (AR) Fire Department in 2013 where he has served as an apparatus engineer, a member of the special operations team trained in various forms of technical rescue, as well as part of the agency's Arson Investigation team.

Lieutenant Josh Acosta joined Beaver Lake Fire Department in Spring 2018 and was promoted to Lieutenant in December 2018. Lieutenant Acosta began his fire service career in 2006 with a combination fire department in Texas where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant.
Lieutenant Acosta duties include direct supervision of Fire and EMS crews and other administrative duties. Josh relocated to NW Arkansas where he currently serves as a firefighter/emt with the City of Bentonville (AR) Fire Department.

Lieutenant Travis Harp joined the Beaver Lake Fire Department in 2018 as a Part-time Firefighter/Medic. LT. Harp began his fire and emergency service career in Washington State as a part-time firefighter.
LT. Harp’s duties include direct supervision of Fire & EMS crews and other administrative duties. Travis currently serves fulltime with the City of Rogers Fire department as a Firefighter/ Paramedic and is an Army Combat Veteran.

Lieutenant Levi Clymer joined the Beaver Lake Fire Department in Spring 2019 as a Lieutenant. LT. Clymer began his fire and emergency service career as a volunteer with the Stella, MO fire department in 2001 where he rose to the rank of Captain. Also in 2001 Lt. Clymer began working for the Newton County Ambulance District as both an EMT and Paramedic serving for 15 years.
LT. Clymer’s duties include direct supervision of Fire & EMS crews and other administrative duties. Levi currently serves fulltime with the City of Rogers Fire department as a Firefighter/Master Paramedic.
